Two poodles at the community titer day

Our community practice

Our annual titer day

144 dogs joined our most recent community titer event. Annual titer testing is something many Holistic Pawrents families choose to do together; each result and vaccination decision still belongs with the veterinarian who knows that dog.

A shared community activity, not a vaccination recommendation for every dog.

Know what you are testing

A small sample. A clearer conversation.

A titer test measures antibodies to a specific infection in a blood sample. It is not a complete health or immunity score.

Which tests? Explore below ↓
3 common core-virus checks

Distemper · Parvovirus · Adenovirus

Often offered together. Results can inform a veterinarian’s vaccination discussion; the panel varies by provider.

A separate purpose

Rabies antibodies

Rabies neutralizing-antibody tests include FAVN and RFFIT. Travel authorities specify accepted tests, laboratories, and timing. A result does not replace required vaccination.

No single total number

Disease ≠ testing method

Other antibody tests investigate particular infections. They are not all tests of vaccine protection. Ask which disease, method, and clinical question your test addresses.

Clinic kits and laboratory tests differ. A negative result needs interpretation, not a self-directed treatment decision. Annual testing is our community practice—not a universal schedule for every dog.
